ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Isolated evening thunderstorms end near the coast, then skies will be mostly to partly cloudy with lows in the low to mid 70s through morning. There may be some patchy fog north of Tampa Bay.

The typical summer pattern continues with southeast winds and sea breezes through the work week. Thunderstorms will be in the afternoon along the sea breezes, ending in the evening. High temperatures continue in the 90s, though.

Monday will also see a partly sunny morning, followed by a few storms later in the day. Storms will develop in the mid afternoon and move west.

With the dry air leaving by the afternoon, the coverage of storms will increase to about 40 percent.

Storms will end Monday evening. Lows overnight will be from the low 70s inland and north to mid to upper 70s around Tampa Bay.

Starting Tuesday, moisture in the mid and upper levels increases over Florida.

The morning will be partly sunny. As the sea breezes form in the afternoon, scattered showers and storms will develop. Those will end during the evening.

The coverage will be above normal, so many of us will get rain. Highs will be in the low to mid 90s. Wednesday looks very similar.

The rest of the work week looks like a very normal summer pattern of some sun in the mornings followed by scattered storms each afternoon to evening on the sea breezes.

It will be hot and humid each day with highs in the low 90s. Winds will be light.

Lows at night will be in the mid to upper 70s.
