  • Police say Schenck admitted to recording

Charles Schenck was charged Wednesday, according to the Tampa Police Department. The incident occurred last week at the Target on the 3600 block of Gandy Boulevard.

The victim told police she was in a dressing room when she saw a phone pointing at her. She screamed, and the phone was pulled away.

Surveillance video led police to Schenck, who admitted to the recording and told detectives he felt guilty and deleted the video from his phone after leaving the store.

His public Facebook page said he studied youth ministry.

"We are deeply saddened by the charges being brought against a former Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Area Representative in Tampa," the organization said in a released statement Wednesday. "All affected by this situation remain in our heartfelt prayers. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes continues to maintain high standards of morality and personal conduct for all FCA employees and volunteers. Due to the investigation and proceedings taking place, we are not able to make further comments."
