ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Our wet pattern will continue into Friday with another round of showers and storms with mostly cloudy skies. So it will likely be wet in some areas for the morning commute again.

Lows will be in the mid 70s inland and near 80 at the coast.
Multiple rounds of showers and storms could come in from the Gulf again. So the Flood Watch remains in effect with localized flooding possible and region river levels running high.
This is pretty normal for this time of year as we're at the peak of our rainy season.
Skies will be mostly cloudy, keeping our highs below average for the fourth straight day in the upper 80s.
The showers and storms will wind down Friday evening with lows in the 70s.

There will still be some showers and storms moving in from the Gulf Saturday, but the best coverage will start shifting northward. Therefore it will be a split forecast Saturday with northern counties getting more storms and cloud cover while southern counties get fewer storms and more sunshine.
Highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90.
Sunday will be the drier of the two weekend days with the rain chance dropping to 40 percent. Also, that will be the day we get back to our more normal pattern of mainly afternoon scattered storms with mainly sunshine in the morning.
That will allow our highs to get back up around 90.
Next week looks like a more traditional pattern of morning sunshine followed by PM scattered storms each day.
