ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The cargo vessel "Glory" is expected to arrive in Freeport this weekend with life saving supplies.
- "Glory" was loaded up at the Port of St. Petersburg
- Organizations from around the country collected supplies
- DORIAN: Tampa Bay Area Relief Efforts, Donation Sites
The vessel was filled with eight containers of supplies. The items were collected by several organizations.
The vessel is operated by a family through the Good Samaritan Shipping Ministries.
Julie Ann Padilla, President of United as 1, says "There's lots of life saving materials, medical, generators water filtration is one of the main keys that's being sent out. In any way we can assist, we'd love to assist."
"Glory" is expected to arrive in Freeport this weekend.
