PINELLAS PARK, Fla. — Wednesday morning is the grand opening of a new apartment complex for families who have experienced chronic homelessness.

  • The Ranch at Pinellas Park
  • Providing home for 33 families that would be homeless
  • Boley Centers received help from the City of Pinellas Park

The Ranch at Pinellas Park is one of the Boley Centers’ latest projects.

The complex will soon be home to 33 families who would otherwise be homeless.

One of the first residents, Amy Cox, said after bouncing around with family and friends for the last two years, she and her daughter ended up in a homeless shelter.

That’s where she heard about the Ranch at Pinellas Park, and a little over a week later, she moved in.

"I kept praying, and I kept my faith, and this turned out so great," said Cox. "I feel like I wouldn’t have gotten it without God’s help because I’ve been through so much, and it just felt like His intervention that all of a sudden, I’m here."

Boley Centers received help from the City of Pinellas Park and Pinellas County to open the complex.

There’s a mix of one, two, and three bedroom units that come fully furnished.

There will also be ten units set aside specifically for veterans.
