MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. — A Bradenton Beach artist with a passion for classical painting is set to show off his work at a new exhibit opening today.

At just 21 years old, artist Rolf Hellem has a passion for classical painting.
“Classical art has this kind of academic sense to it, something you need to study more and understand,” says Hellem.
After graduating from Manatee High School, he moved to Florence, Italy to further train in classical art.
Now home for the holidays, Hellum is opening an exhibit at The Studio of Gulf and Pine called “The Next Chapter” to showcase his work.
“I am looking forward for everyone to see this,” says Hellem.
The exhibit will be open from Dec. 14 - Jan. 31.
