ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Skies will go from mostly clear to partly cloudy with areas of thick morning fog for Thursday morning.

Lows will be in the 60s to upper 50s.  After the fog burns off we will have a mostly sunny Thursday afternoon with highs around 80.  It will feel cooler at the coast with a light onshore breeze.

Friday will turn breezy and slightly cooler with highs in the 70s.

Saturday will be nice with mostly sunny skies and highs in the 70s.

That will be the nicer of the two weekend days because clouds with some rain showers will move in Sunday. As of right now the coverage of rain showers Sunday looks to be at about 50 percent.

Highs will be in the 70s.

A strong cold front is on the way for next week that will bring us a much colder pattern.
