STORM COVERAGE:

Last night's line of storms moved through the region and exited quickly. Preliminary reports indicate a tornado did touch down in Pinellas County, where the most concentrated damage occurred.

A tornado warning was issued for several areas across the Bay Area late Thursday night while I-275 at Roosevelt Boulevard was shut down due to debris. Power was out for many people across the Bay Area and the state.

Since the storm moved out of our area around 1 a.m., I-275 is back open and power has been restored for most people.
