ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — What was meant to be the experience of a lifetime has taken a turn for two University of Tampa students studying abroad in Italy as fears about the coronovirus continue to spiral.

The CDC issued a warning Sunday suggesting all universities consider suspending their abroad programs until the coronavirus outbreak is under control.

As a result, these students are coming home early.

We spoke to the two students currently in Rome via Skype.
