The district is handing out classroom laptops and tablets to families that need them.

Drive-thru distribution started Tuesday and will continue Wednesday at schools across the county.

Parents were emailed specific pickup times based on their child's grade level.

All parents have to do is drive through the bus circle at their child's school, present identification, and staff will provide a device.

The district estimated 15,000-20,000 students will check out a device.

Those without Internet access don't need to worry. Spectrum is offering free WiFi to student and teacher households for the next 60 days.

In the coming days, teachers will be reaching out to parents to make sure students are set to go with their devices before Monday.
