TAMPA BAY — A Bay area teen joined her new forever family in an adoption ceremony carried out over video conference Thursday, with over 60 people viewing to be part of the celebration.

As you can imagine and there was no shortage of tears, signs of well wishes and encouragement.

Mary Goe completed her adoption of 17-year-old Autumn via the Zoom meeting app. She invited all those viewers to be part of the ceremony to make sure the show of support was there to prove to Autumn that she has a village behind her.

“I wanted to make sure Autumn knew how special she was," Goe explained. "How many lives she has touched and how many people will support her. so with 66 people on here, I really think you guys are showing her that."
