TAMPA, Fla. -- An overnight accident on I-275 shut down traffic in both directions early this morning near Bearrs Ave.
Investigators say a semi-truck and car collided, sending fiery debris across lanes on both sides of the interstate.
The driver of the car was trapped inside, but was rescued and rushed to the hospital.
The driver was not critically injured.
The driver of the semi was not injured in the wreck.
A cause of the accident is still being investigated.
