The Florida Dance Theatre in Lakeland will be releasing a special performance this Friday.

It’s called “Six Feet Together.”

It’s a series of short dance films that speak to the isolation happening in today’s world.

“So anyone that was willing to participate, we all decided that we would quarantine 14 days ahead of time,” said Stefan Dolbashian, the Theatre’s Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer explained. “We made sure that we were all safe. And every time we came in, we would take proper precautions of washing, hands, sanitizing.”

The photographer who took the live theatre show digital had to learn enough choreography to both get good shots and avoid a collision.

“It's a really positive marriage between both mediums that really gives you something really interesting and a perspective that you wouldn't normally be able to see,” said Photographer Justin Phillips, the founder of Reel Moments Media.

The show is going online at 12 p.m. on Friday, June 26, and you can enjoy it through Sunday.

The cost is $5.
