A Hillsborough County family said a thief stole their main source of income, when their pizza food trailer was towed away early Monday morning from a strip mall parking lot.

"In seven minutes, (they) take my trailer," 57-year-old owner Micro Falcone said. "This is our main income. Without this job we are really dead."

It happened at 3:42 a.m. at the strip mall located at 6821 W. Hillsborough Avenue. Surveillance video from a nearly supermarket shows a vehicle towing away the bright red Pizzetaly food trailer.

"It's something they planned before for sure because this is an Italian truck with a wood fired oven," Falcone said. "No fryer. No grill. This is just for a specific job of the Italian style pizza. This is really strange."

Falcone says he and his wife had been selling pizza from that location since March, and his family appreciates the support they've received from the community.

"Many people support us. Many people will help us come back soon," Falcone said, explaining that his American dream was to own a pizza food trailer.

"The people who did that, that really is horrible people," he said. "We just want to work."

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said its theft investigation is active and open. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at (813) 247-8200.
