PORT RICHEY— Seniors in Pasco County began receiving Covid-19 vaccines Thursday.

The county has received 3,500 doses of COVID-19 vaccine this week. Health officials are coordinating with Pasco County Emergency Management to distribute the vaccine to those 65 and older via a drive-thru process.

Located in the Sears parking lot at 9409 US 19 in Port Richey, the vaccinations will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You don't need to live in Pasco County to get a vaccine but the vaccination clinic is by appointment only and all 500 slots for today have already been filled.

If you're from out of town, health officials say you must be staying in the area for the next 28 days for your second shot.

This will be a drive up event, so you must remain in your car unless you are asked to get out.

Additional locations will be announced when more numbers of vaccines and vaccinators become available.

  • Bring your completed consent form, confirmation number and a valid ID to your appointment. If you are unable to print your consent form, a consent form will be provided at your appointment. If you are unable to print your registration ticket, please write down your registration confirmation number and bring it to your appointment.

Appointments available from 9:00 a.m. - 2 p.m. Vaccines will not be distributed to anyone without an appointment.
