The Falcon 9 rocket is carrying a variety of satellites.

The launch will be part of the Transporter-1 mission, and once in orbit, will deploy dozens of small microsatellites and nanosatellites β€” including Starlink satellites β€” "into a sun-synchronous orbit for commercial and government customers," the Kennedy Space Center state on its website.

SpaceX went even further with the describption of the mission on its website.

"On board this launch are 133 commercial and government spacecraft (including CubeSats, microsats, and orbital transfer vehicles) and 10 Starlink satellites – the most spacecraft ever deployed on a single mission. The Starlink satellites aboard this mission will be the first in the constellation to deploy to a polar orbit," the company stated.

Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on Of Course I Still Love You droneship, which is stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

Sunday's launch comes four days after a Falcon 9 rocket successfully carried 60 Starlink satellites into orbit.

The forecast for Sunday's launch was given a 70% favorable, according to the 45th Space Wing.

SpaceX tried to launch this mission on Saturday, but had to push it back due to poor weather.

"It's official: We are scrubbing today for weather, for surface-electrical fields. We do have a back-up opportunity tomorrow at 10 a.m.," said Andy Tran, a production supervisor for SpaceX, during a live feed of the launch on Saturday.
