The Catholic Diocese of St. Petersburg held a "Blue Mass" Tuesday in order to show support to local law enforcement.
Officers, an honor guard and dozens of others joined Bishop Gregory Parkes at Saint Timothy Catholic Church in Lutz.
The interfaith event brings together several members of departments across the Tampa Bay region.
It's a chance to pray for and honor the men and women serving to protect the community.
