TAMPA, Fla. – The Downtown Tampa Partnership wants to help make an even bigger impact on the city and they’re calling on you to help out.

Saturday, they held their first ever open house event to hire for two positions— Downtown Guides and Clean Team members.

The Clean Team does exactly what it sounds like, by making sure the city stays pristine and maintained to a certain standard.

The Downtown Guides help people navigate and enjoy the city.

Leaders of the partnership say it’s an honor to be able to give back to the place they call home.

“It’s just so special because you can really see the impact that you’re making. You watch people walk by and say what an amazing downtown Tampa is and you play a role in creating that experience for somebody,” said Rachel Radawec.

A second open house will be held at their new operations center at 1415 N. Ashley Drive from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
