TAMPA, Fla. — A Tampa family is desperate to find Joshua Simmons, a missing son and father.  

Family says they last spoke to Simmons, 35, on March 3. He was a staying at a hotel near Ybor City.

Friends and family were out walking the streets of Ybor City on March 17, asking if anyone has any information on Joshua.

They were holding up signs and passing out photos of him.

His father, Sid Crespo, says Joshua was supposed to see his kids later that day and this was not like him not to be in touch. So he went out looking.

“I hope that we will be able to connect with someone who has seen our son or who has made contact with our son, to give my wife some relief and comfort,” Crespo said.

Family tells us they have filed a missing person report and that law enforcement is looking into this.
