Melissa Howard, 46, suspended her campaign on Aug. 14 after it was found she faked her degree from Miami University in Ohio.

Howard was a candidate for Florida House of Representatives District 73, which includes Manatee County.

In Washington D.C. another week of controversy surrounding the White House.

This time, President Donald Trump is taking legal action against former campaign aide, Omarosa Manigault Newman.

She admitted to secretly recording conversations while working in the White House and is threatening to release them one-by-one.

President Trump's campaign has filed for arbitration against her, saying Newman violated an NDA agreement, they say, she allegedly signed.
