Northeast running back Keith Harrington is heading to the Northwest.

The 5-foot-8, 169-pound back committed to Washington State on Thursday, head coach Mike Jalazo said in a text message to BHSN.

Harrington chose the Cougars over offers from Arizona, Ball State, Indiana, Boise State and Wake Forest, among others. He received his offer from Wazzu on May 9.

Harrington showed off his skills at the Nike Football Training Camp in Orlando this spring, being named MVP at running back. Last season, he had 1,382 all-purpose yards, and accounted for 10 touchdowns.
