ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Rowdies announced Friday that Coach Neill Collins and two additional members of the club’s "covered persons" list have tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss Sunday’s USL Championship Final against Phoenix Rising FC.

The match is set for 8:30 p.m. on ESPN.

Collins and the two others were immediately isolated at home, the team said, and are recovering in good spirits under the care of team physicians and infectious disease experts.

All league, local and state health and wellness protocols continue to be followed, the team added.

Upon receiving the results, all Rowdies players, staff and executives underwent urgent rapid testing at the medical facilities of Major League Baseball’s Tampa Bay Rays, with the results yielding zero additional positive tests.
