Universal Orlando is hiring new full-time and part-time employees for the upcoming holiday season.

The resort has jobs available in a variety of areas, including attractions, operations, culinary, merchandise and more. Universal said it will hire more than 3,000 new employees across the entire resort.

A series of job fairs will be held in the coming weeks. The first hiring event takes place Thursday, Oct. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Universal Orlando’s Human Resources office.

Interviews are by appointment only, Universal says. Employee benefits include free park admission, discounts and more.

Earlier this year, Universal announced it was bringing a Christmas celebration to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.  

Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley will be transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with wreaths, garlands and lights. A special nighttime projection show will be displayed on Hogwarts Castle.

Other holiday festivities set for Universal include performances by Mannheim Steamroller, a holiday-themed parade and the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular live show.
