Universal Orlando plans to hire 2,000 new workers across its resort.

The positions would be in attractions, security, custodial and sales.

The hiring event comes after Universal hired 1,700 people for Volcano Bay, which opens May 25.

New marketplaces added to Epcot food fest

Disney is adding new marketplaces to this year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.

India and Spain are among the new marketplaces and will feature dishes such as spicy korma chicken and charcuterie in a cone.

The festival will feature a total of 35 marketplaces, a festival record.

The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival runs Aug. 31-Nov. 13.

Free Legoland admission for first responders

For the month of May, first responders can get free admission to Legoland Florida.

The theme park is giving out free, single-day tickets to law enforcement, EMTs, firefighters and others.

To get tickets, first responders must show their employee ID at the ticket window.

The offer is available through May 31.
