Technical issues with a fairing valve forced the company to delay the launch to no earlier than Friday, with a reattempt opportunity on Saturday.
“Standing down on BuglariaSat-1 to replace a fairing valve,” SpaceX said on its official Twitter page.
A new launch time has not been released.
SpaceX plans to send a communications satellite for Bulgaria—the country’s first—which is designed to provide broadcast and telecom services to southeastern Europe.
The launch will be SpaceX’s second attempt at launching and landing a previously used Falcon 9 rocket.
