When the first trailer for Marvel’s “Black Panther” premiered, audiences were given their first glimpse of the colorful costumes.

This weekend at Disney’s D23 Expo in Anaheim, the costumes are on full display.

For the first time, we’re getting an up close look at the work of Ruth E. Carter, who designed the costumes.

In addition to costumes from new characters that will be introduced in “Black Panther,” the updated costume for T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) is front and center.

It’s sleeker than his costume for “Captain America: Civil War” and looks more like the skintight suit in the comics.

The helmet has also been updated and more closely resembles Panther’s face.

“Black Panther” will be released in theaters Feb. 16.
