Dragon Challenge will close today at Universal Orlando to make for way for the new Harry Potter attraction, which is slated to open in 2019.

Labor Day will be the last day for park goers to ride the Dragon Challenge.

Universal Orlando has filed a new set of permits that give a glimpse at the work being done for a new Harry Potter attraction.

The project named “U O 942” calls for work on a 7.44-acre site in Islands of Adventure.

The permit says the work is for “renovating an existing area within the overall IOA site.”

Also included in the documents is a map of the construction area, from the Wizarding of World Harry Potter – Hogsmeade to parts of Jurassic Park.

These new permits are tied to permits filed in July for Universal’s Project 942, the new coaster that’s replacing Dragon Challenge.

Universal has not shared many details about the “highly-themed” coaster except that it will take riders “deeper into J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World.”
