The paperwork was filed with the Clerk of Courts on Tuesday afternoon.
Cashe, 31, was formally indicted Monday by a Seminole County grand jury in the March 27 slayings of 8-year-old Branden Christian and his 35-year-old mother, Latina Herring at a home on Hayes Drive.
Latina's father, Bertis Herring; Branden's 7-year-old brother, Brendan; and two bystanders, 43-year-old Lazaro Paredes and 18-year-old Rakeya Jackson, were also shot but survived.
Cashe faces two first-degree premeditated murder charges and four counts of attempted first-degree murder with a firearm, plus other charges.
Paredes was released from a hospital last week. Jackson was expected to be released any day, per a Sanford Police spokeswoman.
