A Marion County man is accused of crushing up oxycodone pills, snorting them on the customer service counter inside a Publix and then attempting to drive away from the store in a vehicle that wasn't his, deputies said Friday.

Three Marion County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the store located at 8075 S.W. State Road 200 in reference to the suspicious incident.

Christopher Catlin, 48, crushed up the pills and then snorting them. He left his pill bottle (with no label), which contained 42 clonazepam pills and 32 oxycodone pills, on the desk.

Catilin was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. He was booked into the Marion County Jail.
