Tom Brady is the measuring stick.

This is who Jameis Winston aspires to be.

“Every successful quarterback that was playing when I was coming up, I admired them,” Winston said. “But Tom Brady, in particular, he’s the winningest.”

On the cusp of franchise designation, Winston gauges his progress by Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

“Every offseason, every rep I get during the season that I’m trying to be better and better because I know that he’s still out there playing,” Winston said. “He’s still getting better and better.”

Winston isn’t the only one starstruck.

“The show is coming to town,” defensive tackle Gerald McCoy said. “You got arguably the best, in this game, arguably the best ever at quarterback and head coach.

“It’s the defending champs, who don’t wanna see the show.”

It’s a show Winston wants to be a part of, especially in the starring role at quarterback.

“It gets you pumped up,” Winston said. “It definitely makes you think about how hard you worked to get to this point.

“I’m thinking about what I’m going to say to him when I see him and meet him.”

The ultimate meet and greet for Jameis Winston.
