The city of Clearwater has given the go-ahead for crews to repair damages to Bright House Networks Field caused by Tropical Storm Debby earlier this year.

Flooding damaged flooring, walls and furniture. The city approved spending just under $400,000 for the repairs, which should be completed by December.

City officials will then ask to be reimbursed by The Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Bright House Networks Field is the spring training home of the Philadelphia Phillies and hosts the minor league Clearwater Threshers during the spring and summer.
