Pinellas Sheriff Bob Gualtieri will resume DUI checkpoints and Wolf Pack patrols Friday.
A checkpoint will be at 9001 US Highway 19 North in Pinellas Park from 8 a.m. to 3 a.m.
Checkpoint will continue once a month.
The Sheriff will be there starting at 9 p.m.
Wolf Pack patrols will also continue once a month on different nights than the checkpoints.
They will target high traffic areas and impaired, aggressive and reckless drivers.
Friday's checkpoint is dedicated to Explorer Nick Sznerch and his family. Sznerch lost his father and 13-year-old sister to an impaired driver when he was seven years old.
