"Dolphin Docents" are needed at a recently-installed exhibit at Clearwater Beach.

The volunteers will help out at "Clearwater's Dolphins: Pod at Pier 60," which will be on display through Tuesday, Sept. 4.

The painted dolphin sculptures were sponsored by local businesses, organizations and citizens. Each dolphin was designed and decorated by local artists that were selected through a Call to Artists jury process.

Now that they have been put on display, volunteers are needed for two-hour shifts to keep the public from damaging the dolphins.  One to two people are needed per shift.

The shifts are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon, noon to 2 p.m., 2 - 4 p.m., 4 - 6 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m.
