New Port Richey police say a man had everything he needed to pass himself off as law enforcement- except the real deal.

Police say Roy Antigua, 53, of New Port Richey, has been impersonating law enforcement and military veterans using realistic uniforms and props.

Among his disguises; a war hero, a CIA agent, even a member of NASA.

"We couldn't believe it. I've never seen anything like this," says New Port Richey Police Detective Michael Anderson. "It actually floored us."

Police obtained search warrants after arresting Antigua last week for parole violation. Police say Antigua was on parole for a previous grand theft charge.

He was driving an Escalade, complete with flashing blue lights, with a suspended license.  Before cuffing him, police say Antigua flashed a Coast Guard ID, on officers say they immediately knew was fake.

Police say it wasn't the first time Antigua tried to pass himself off as an officer with the Coast Guard.  They say he wore it to a Memorial Day event this past May and even New Port Richey Police Chief James Steffens thought it was the real deal.

"He introduced himself to me as Lt. Commander Roy Antigua and asked questions about the event," said Chief Steffens.

Now, while Antigua sits in Land O' Lakes Jail, investigators are trying to piece together who he really is.  They say alone, the props aren't illegal. But how Antigua used them could be.

"The best case scenario, we have someone who likes to dress up.  The worst case scenario, we have a sex offender or someone involved with other cases," said Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco.  "And that's what we are trying to find out."

"We want the public to assist us and, as I go through this case, we need to know if you interacted with him," said Chief Steffens.  "Was it under suspicious circumstances or was it under circumstances that you now find suspicious?"
