The Polk County Sheriff's Office has just finished training another 100 people for its Operation Bright Eyes program.
The program uses Bright House Networks cable workers to watch for any suspicious activity while they are out in the communities. Bright House Networks is the parent company of Bay News 9.
Sheriff Grady Judd says programs such as Bright Eyes are helping to keep crime at an all-time low.
