The cold overnight conditions will give way to sunny skies and moderate temperatures Tuesday.

According to Bay News 9 Meteorologist Juli Marquez, after a chilly morning, there will be plenty of sunshine. Early morning temperatures in the 50s and 40s across the region, and some 30s to the north, will be replaced with highs of about 70 degrees this afternoon.

"It’s chilly this morning, but this afternoon won’t be as cool as yesterday," Marquez said. "It will be cold again tonight and Wednesday morning."

Conditions will remain clear and dry the rest of the week, and temperatures will be back in the 80s by Friday.
