A coalition of Pinellas County community leaders is being created to deal with the drastic changes to the National Flood Insurance program.
County commissioners say the skyrocketing rates are expected to affect more families and businesses in Pinellas County than in any other community in the nation.
The efforts are set to get underway in January.
