Sunday morning's heavy fog has led to the partial closure of the Port of Tampa and tons of stranded passengers at the mall.

The passengers were bused to Westshore Mall in Tampa to wait it out while the cruise line sent them updates.

The fog delayed the arrival of the Carnival Legend to the Port.

The ship is now slated to arrive at 4 p.m.

Passengers continue to wait to get on the Norwegian Dawn.

The passengers were supposed to start boarding at noon and for a 4 p.m. departure time.

Reduced visibility due to the sea fog could remain an issue for the rest of the day.

Bay News 9 Meteorologist Josh Linker says, "A stalled front just to the north of our area will lead to some scattered showers throughout the day."

It will remain warm and muggy with highs near 80.

Bay area residents can expect warmer weather Monday with windy conditions Tuesday.

Temperatures should dip lower as the week continues with highs in the low 70s and high 60s Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
