Madeira Beach city leaders want a thorough inspection of their entire stormwater drainage system.

This comes on the heels of Tropical Storm Andrea, which flooded area streets. Flooding is a major issue for parts of the city.

City officials said they already know of two faulty pipes that will be fixed soon. A preliminary report shows nearly 80 percent of the city's pipes had some type of clogging.

And with hurricane season now underway, leaders say they don't want to run the risk of having any collapsed pipes.

All of this will cost the city more than $160,000.
