A woman shopping at Desoto Square Mall got a sudden surprise when her necklace was snatched off her neck, deputies said.
According to deputies, the suspect left the mall. They chased the suspect to Astro Skate, then lost him heading east toward Mira Lago Apartments.
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said the necklace was valued at $1,000. Deputies said surveillance video captured the suspect, who appears to be a teenage male.
