The Pinellas County Extension Service is offering a workshop on rain barrels
Brian Niemann, a "Florida Friendly" landscaping agent for the service, will share techniques on building, painting and caring for rain barrels from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Weedon Island Preserve.
The class is free, but registration is required by Wednesday either online or by calling 727-453-6524. Participants can buy a rain barrel for $25.
