A 45-year-old Tampa woman was killed early Wednesday when she lost control of her sport utility vehicle and was ejected as it rolled over multiple times, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Lesley Bonnell Bush was driving a 1994 Ford Explorer east on Causeway Boulevard near 76th Street S around 4:30 p.m. She veered onto the raised concrete median, over-corrected and spun clockwise, troopers said.
The SUV overturned several times and ejected Bush, who was not wearing a seatbelt, troopers said. She died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
