The Pasco Sheriff's Office has released one of the 911 calls made during the Cobb Theater shooting.

Chad Oulson was fatally shot Jan. 13 at the Cobb Grove 16 movie theater in Wesley Chapel during an argument with a retired Tampa police captain over texting, sheriff's officials said.

A nurse was calling from inside the theater just after the shooting happened. Oulson lay bleeding on the floor.

In less than four minutes, Fire Rescue was on the scene but county officials say they couldn't rush in just yet after the nurse told the dispatcher the shooter was still in the theater, right behind him.

On the 911 tape, the caller is heard trying to assist the victim while answering questions about the shooting.

"Alright, someone start doing chest compressions and get a pulse. Ok, start. Ok. Come on, come on buddy breathe! Breathe!"

Investigators say an off-duty deputy secured Reeves' gun and held him in his seat, while the other witnesses continued working on Oulson.

"I’m a nurse, sir, so at this point I’m trying to make sure this guy stays with us," the caller tells the 911 operator. "This guy's pulse is weak. We need an ambulance stat."

Seven minutes after the call came in, help arrived inside the theater.

Nicole Oulson was shot in the hand while trying to defend her husband. She has had surgery to her hand and is now recovering. Oulson spoke out earlier this week, saying her life has been forever changed.
