A man has been charged in the deaths of two women murdered in a Brandon townhouse in October.
Twenty-three-year-old Jennifer L. Kalb and 25-year-old Lindsay Green were killed in a townhouse located at 1528 Highland Ridge Circle on Oct. 10.
A fire had been set within the townhouse in an attempt to cover up the murder.
Deputies have charged Charles Martinez, 24, with two counts of first-degree murder and arson of a dwelling. Detectives say a witness came forward with information leading them to charge Martinez with the murders.
Martinez was arrested the day after the bodies were discovered for outstanding warrants and has been in jail since then. These new charges will be added to his previous charges.
