Amanda Murphy is running as a Democrat for the District 36 seat in the Florida House of Representatives.
1. Why are you running for this office?
I am running for this office to continue serving the people of West Pasco. I have been a voice fighting for the people and wish to continue fighting for the hardworking people of Pasco.
2. Why do you think you are the best qualified candidate for the office?
Through the last session I proved that I am the person to get things done for Pasco. I worked across the aisle and was able to pass our local bills, amend bills and bring back much needed resources to West Pasco.
3. If you are elected, what will be your top priorities?
My priority was and always will be to protect the citizens of Pasco. We need to put people first and repeal Dukes Utility Tax, we need to invest in our education system, and to fight for affordable home owners insurance rates.
