The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office will be making sure sexual predators won't be participating in any activities involving kids this Halloween.
Deputies will make contact with offenders who are restricted from having contact with children and reminded them that they are not allowed to hand out candy.
They are also not allowed to put up decorations that may entice children or answer the door for trick-or-treaters.
Dressing up in costume or attending parties where children will be present is also prohibited.
Parents are reminded that they should accompany children while trick-or-treating, carry a cell phone and to avoid darkened houses and places they feel are unsafe.
