The League of Women Voters of Manatee County and other partners are inviting the public to meet their newly elected or re-elected officials in an informal setting.
The program is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Soma Creekside Restaurant, 1401 Manatee Avenue W. Free parking is available in the building's garage.
City, county and state officials and representatives will be on hand, and there will be appetizers, music and a cash bar. Reservations can be made by sending $20 (made out to LWV of Manatee) to LWV-Manatee, P.O. Box 545, Bradenton.
Walk-ins are welcome, space-permitted.
