Temperatures warmed up nicely around the Bay area this afternoon after another chilly start to the day.

According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Diane Kacmarik, the high clouds that have been spreading in overhead will help to keep temperatures up some for tonight.

It still will be chilly with lows in the upper 40s to low 50s around Tampa Bay to low 40s for the Nature Coast.  Frost will not be as widespread. There still is a possibility mainly in Citrus County, where clouds are a bit thinner and dew points are lower.

Warmer air will build in over the next couple days. Moisture will also start pushing in which will bring some rain chances gradually back in. The best chance for rain will be on Monday and Tuesday.

The next cold front looks to come through on Tuesday.
