The third victim injured in a wrong-way crash in Seminole earlier this week has died from her injuries.

Arminda Martins had been in the hospital since Christmas, when another driver hit her family's car as they were headed home from a holiday celebration. The Florida Highway Patrol said Martin died from her injuries on Friday.

Martins' husband, 84-year-old Joao, and their daughter, 58-year-old Isabel, died at the scene of the crash, which happened shortly after midnight on Park Boulevard near the intersection with 131st N.

Investigators said Isabel Martins was driving a 2009 Hyundai Sonata east on Park Boulevard when the car was hit head-on by a westbound Ford Explorer in the eastbound lanes.

Her son, Matthew John Martins, 23, was driving another car that was involved in the crash. He suffered minor injuries.

Investigators are awaiting official toxicology reports in the crash. Officials said the driver of the Ford Explorer is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol.

The investigation continues.
