A bicyclist was killed Friday night in Oldsmar.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office's Major Accident Investigation Team, the crash happened at 9:45 p.m. on Tampa Road.
Investigators say Vitalii Karpenko, 29, was biking across a sidewalk when a driver was pulling out of a driveway.
A 53-year-old driver in a Dodge Ram pickup truck struck Karpenko, who became pinned under Cowan's vehicle and suffered fatal injuries.
Detectives say alcohol may be a contributing factor in the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
